DEJA Trail Ride @ Rausch Creek Sept 12 2015

Moving the trip to Rausch Creek.

Big Dogs. Where to begin. Good wheeling on private property that is only open a few times a year with a campground. I think :camping: pretty much sums it up (not in that order lol). Most people usually go down Thursday night and stay until Sunday morning/midday. We usually have a bunch of the 35-40" tire guys down but there's trails for just about anyone and there will be other groups you can jump it if you don't want to wheel the crazy stuff. The nighttime parties can get pretty unfamily friendly.

Sorry about posting this a little late, work and life is crazy. This and the August ride completely slipped my mind. Thanks to Shorebird for reminding me of this one, you're off the hook next time I try to fire you. And again thanks to deadfeat for posting the August thread.

If people would rather go to rausch then we can change it. I think all of the 40" crew is out. Whatever people want to do is cool.

I can't do a whole weekend in VA, but a day at Rausch sounds good.

It looks like we have little interest in Big Dogs. I'm in for Rausch on Sept. 12th as of now. Maybe we should officially make it our September ride and start a new post.

Pretty sure the membership is $15.00 and the cost to ride the trail is $30.00 plus I believe another $7.00 for any passengers over 16.

Yeah, $15 annual membership fee for drivers and passengers over 16. Then $35 a day for vehicle and driver. Passengers are $7 a day, but this is waived if they join that day.

Yes, had to replace the axle shaft too. I'd still like to get to Big Dogs, but don't want to make the long drive solo, so I guess I'm in for RC.

If I can get off work, I'd be interested in camping, but it's still to far out for me to confirm.
