After a complete suspension and body mount rebuild, replacing most of the sheet metal, red paint job and family roll bar install, it's time for a new soft top with hardware and doors. Since the 87 didn't have a family roll bar, will the later YJ soft tops fit my 87? I'm looking at this one:

Yea any year yj top with a frame structure will fit.

Yessir, that is the same top my wife got me last year for Christmas (minus the doors).

The Supertop is a full-replacement top, so it'll work on any of the 87-95 years without a problem. The rollbars didn't play a role in the soft top mount. Actually, the top will fit on the CJ-7, too. But, the door latches may not work since the older CJs had the wedge type latch instead of the Nadir pin.
