After suspension lift ?

  • After I get the 3.5 - 4" suspension lift, should I get rid of the 2" lift shackles and go back to the stock ones?

    Only on 31's.

    Pros/Cons????

  • Yes. On 31's you don't need the additional shackle lift and most reports I have read give shackle lifts greater than 1" a bad write up.

But if you are happy with the ride and don't HAVE the stock ones there is no reason to switch.

  • I highly recomend going back to stock or upgrade to the M.O.R.E. http://www.mountainoffroad.com boomerang shackles. These will help the rear springs flex around the crossmember.
