    Just an FYI

  • This is very short notice but there are a few of us trying to get a group up to try out BigDogs in June. This place looks amazing so check out the link and post up if you want to go. I am going to reserve a spot by Friday, but it would be awesome to get a few more Jeepers on board. http://www.bigdogsoffroad.com/

i'm going. i went last year. it is a great event.

I've never been there but I think it depends on the trails you run. I've talked to a bunch of people lately and seen enough pictures that it looks like I can definitely get myself in trouble there on some rocks. :suspicious:

i respectfully disagree. i was there for three days last year. they have a wide variety of trail types and levels. some very rocky and challenging stuff.

Is this the place in West Virginia? If not maybe I'm thinking about a different park. The place I'm talking about is about 45 minutes north of Harrisonburg, WV.
When I called the lady I talked to said it was mostly mud, but from the pics I guess she was wrong.

Hell yeah, that is the same schedule I am planning. I have to leave out fairly early (aka, as soon as my hung over ass can crawl out of the tent), to head back for my nieces first b-day on Sunday. I'll tell you what Wayne, first beer is on me so I can prove to you that I'm only an e-asshole, in real life I'm a pretty nice guy (just don't tell anyone, I have a reputation to uphold!). I am so freakin' pumped about this trip, the wheeling looks bad ass and we are getting a real nice group together. I am counting the days!

  • Is there any chance that anyone is planning to leave friday night. I just started a new job and dont want to ask for time off in my first month. The other thing is has anyone ever towed a jeep with a tow dolly with any luck. Thats my plan right now because i dont know anyone with a trailer or think it would be smart to drive down and hope to drive back.

I am thinking about doing this also and would b going Friday night if I do. as far as dolly put the t-case in N and pull away you will be fine.

  • ill be there from friday to at least sunday morning.

As for mud, the only mud i know about is the mud pit which well is built for mud bogging. Big dogs is in GORE which is 6000 acres of lakes, mountains and some of the best wheeling on the east coast.

as for the mud pit, its not bad if you know what your doing.... which i did not :( http://myspacetv.com/index.cfm…dividual&videoid=21931380

here are some vids of gore and some of the rock crawling that can be done.....

The best part of gore is that there is so much to wheel, that even with 150 rigs roaming the area you can go all day with out seeing another group. If you all decide to go, let me know what camp you all are at and ill either camp with you guys or swing by. Id like to hang with a different group for once in a different camp.

oh here are all my pics that ive taken in the past year of Gore...
