Beautiful Jeep. It's only worth what someone is willing to pay for it!
Not $23,000. I would think $12000 to $13000.
Best thing to do is go on Collins Brothers websight and see what they ask for a similar Jeep.
IMO $15 xxx - $17xxx
Best bet would be to check completed Ebay and Barret Jackson.
What little I did research looks like CJ8s are going for $20 xxx + in restored condition.
Hard to get a good call on the paint from a picture but looks grainy with orange peel. Should have been sanded and polished for that kind of money. But it could just be the pictures making it look that way.
their description states it's an 87

X2! Its a buyers market right now so the more he wants the longer it may take to unload.
That Betty is purdy! I bet they didn't roll off the assembly line looking that nice!
If you guys aren't familiar with them, Icon Motoring does some of the higher-end offroad vehicle restorations. I have looked at FJ's from them in the past. I have no experience firsthand, but their rigs go on the high end of cost and they do seem to be able to move them. Not saying they are worth it, just what I have observed in the past.

I'm of the assumption that Icon Motoring and Icon4x4 are completely different companies - is that who you are thinking about?

http://www.icon4x4.com/ (builder/restorer of supercool vehicles)

I believe they are separate but I have seen stuff from both. Of course they could be related, or one just trying to cash in on the others reputation. Hard to say... What they do seem to have in common are some very high prices.
