Jeeps For Joy - Toy Drive 12/9

    The toy drive website (http://www.jeepsforjoy.org , in case you don't want to scroll up....) has been updated with all the latest info. There are directions to the shopping center, a huge list of needed donations from the hospital, maps of the route we'll take from the toy drive to deliver the toys that afternoon, printable fliers, etc.


    We will once again need members help at the event.


    First and foremost....TELL YOUR FRIENDS! Print out some fliers, hand them out to people you know, friends, family, co-workers, etc. We need to get people to the event with donations! Tell them WSTW will be there for a live broadcast, and they'll have free giveaways as well. We will have raffles for Jeeps stuff, as well as gift cards and gift certificates, and other items from local businesses, sports teams, etc. Anyone can stop by and buy raffle tickets for a chance to win.


    On the day of the event we'll need help with the following:


    - set up (7:30am!)
    - direct parking
    - raffle ticket sales
    - taking donations
    - counting and boxing donations
    - clean up prior to the caravan to the hospital

    As long as it stays in DE.


    The idea was to let each county have it for a fair time to give those local a chance to play.


    Last time there were no takers in NCC.


    Just remember there is some responsibility that comes with it. It is possible to roll a Jeep on it if you don't know what you are doing.


    We will also need it back to Killens for the Spring Fling.

    Yeah, sorry guys. Our liability insurance for the event will not allow us to have anything like the RTI ramp at the toy drive. It would be a huge attention grabber, but we wouldn't be able to get insurance with it. No insurance, to permission to use the lot.
