  • I drove off of it.

  • And for the record when I got home my passenger side unit bearing and hub decided to separate and the the wheel was about ready to fall off. I had to say "I wheeled this thing nine times last year hard without a single break....". First trip out this season, I dent a fender, twist a drive shaft, and destroy a wheel hub. It looks like it's going to be a long year........

  • My rear<a href="http://www.delawareja.com/gallery2/main.php?g2_view=core.DownloadItem&g2_itemId=9757&g2_GALLERYSID=b756aeb8f8d2649741cee5a83e00e2ef"><img src="http://www.delawareja.com/gallery2/main.php?g2_view=core.DownloadItem&g2_itemId=9759&g2_GALLERYSID=b756aeb8f8d2649741cee5a83e00e2ef" alt="jeep and others 046" /></a>

  • how do you like that FT kit?

I have been very happy with both my Full Traction kits. I wanted to stick with a four link front (just my opinion, no need to flame) and the triangulated rear upper handles and flexes great.
Now if FT could somehow get my engine skid to me that's been on order for 6 months now.

  • Can anyone run by what trails we went on?

This is the best I can remember.
100 yards outside, the parking lot, J-Man dents his drive shaft and almost rips it off.
From there we went from F to B to 1C (Didn't do the pit) to 1 and followed that over to the West Property.
At the West, we follow J down to 12-B to link up to 20. Somewhere on 12, Solomi thrashed a U-Joint snap-ring and on trail 20, Slopar FUBARed his front shaft. We used some creative snatch blocking and pulled him out.

After dropping our dead YJ off at the trailer, we hit the hills on C and then we figured we would just do a quick run down trail 5 and call it a day. As usual, trail 5 handed J-Man his ass on a plate by finishing off his drive shaft. He threw a new shaft in and we rolled over to CV trail to play on the Red hills. After playing there for a bit we called it an early day because it was Sunday.

I missed a bunch of trails but that was the basics. Solomi, how was your gas tank skid? I forgot to ask you. It looked pretty messed up.

  • hehe, everything is holding up. A lot of stuff has been dented from previous trails. Old Man Emu only lifts it so high. This run I bent a front lower CA real good, have some obvious extra rock rash on the pumpkins. I lost the passenger side end cap of the front bumper and bent the front bumper slightly on the passenger side. also smashed the passenger side fog light. i noticed my rear bumper is slightly bent also. the surf tag license plate was torn and is hanging on by one bolt (though it's not bad) it was a lot of fun. :) throwing engine code P0138, haven't found any holes in the exhaust yet, tempted to just replace the O2 sensor and see if it clears. I got 20mpg on the way home (usual 14-15).

    Thanks for the run down.

P.S. I followed an 18 wheeler all the way home
