Joseph and I should be making this one. I think I saw the Savage's Rd turn-off last weekend heading south, it's on the right before the inlet correct? I should remember to bring some extra disposable gloves to share, some sunscreen, lunch? This is my first year with a surf tag; will I need the pole/tackle/bait, board, shovel, etc... set-up? Dogs need 6 ft leash... what else should I know? Thanks!

Might want to bring fishing gear, usually after the cleanup which takes 2 hours tops many will head out to fish/relax/play in the surf, etc.
Bait is kinda optional. LOL

I am in with the dog and fishing poles! This will be my first time on the beach with the Jeep so I will need the normal newbie helpWe're going to meet up at the parking area across from the Faithful Steward Crossing, we can air tires down, find passenger seats for anyone without a surf tag and make sure everybody's all set there. There'll be experienced folks happy to help newbies as always. I spoke to the DNREC guy earlier this week so we'll have trashbags, etc. Like Keith said, I'm thinking we'll knock the cleanup out and still have plenty of opportunity to fish and frolic.
