he is selling them for "cheap" because no one will buy them. you will have to find another naive little kid to sell them to.
will 40s fit

I might no someone that will take them, if you don't.

Going to something that big is going to show where the weak spots in your drivetrain are. That's a lot of mass to turn. The tires are cheap but then you'll need to regear the axles, probably upgrade your brakes, you may want to go with wider axles to prevent hitting your frame while turning.....Don't waste your breath on "logic" here, that is pure crazy talk...

LOL.
I saw the post title and did exactly that.As mentioned, I'd avoid the 40's Hunter.... You can make anything fit with a sawsall but it takes a lot of work to do it right for the trail let alone the road. Find some replacement 35's.

Re: will 40s fit
Depends on how big your cupholders are and how many you plan to get! Are you even old enough to drink?!? -
Get rid of that crappy 2inch body lift and do at least and 3" and slap those puppy's on there. Best tire out thereI have to go with nick by far the best tire in the world

Ill most likely buy them and sell them

Not to anyone on here... at least not for any profit b/c we all know what you're paying for them. DEJA peeps are probably your majority of potential buyers and as you can see there's almost no interest. The point they're trying to make is that if you're just trying to turn these for a profit then it's a risky/bad investment. There's not a huge market for these tires. You will probably be saddled with them for a loooong time or end up having to take a loss in order to unload them onto someone else.
Hopefully you can find someone who's building a older bronco/blazer mud buggy or a scale model of Gravedigger who might need tires that big. If all else fails you can take them down to the docks and see if a tugger captain wants them as bumpers for his tug.
The smart thing to do is save your $500 and build on that towards a new set of 35's. -

I think you all have made it painfully clear that there is no market for this set of tires on DEJA.
Fortunately for him the off-road world on the Eastern Shore is much larger than the confines of DEJA -

Hopefully you can find someone who's building a older bronco/blazer mud buggy or a scale model of Gravedigger who might need tires that big. It's takes a lot of HP to spin a tire that large fast enough to really work in mud.
Most guys will be running big axles and would probably opt for a rim larger than 15".

4Ds on a maybe net 1" lift with a stock 4.0.
just grab a sawzall.
