  • Here is a link to one of our Competitors (Candi) rolling her rig for on her first obstacle of the weekend. If you look up behind the banner, Aaron and I were standing there watching it from the other angle. (Candi if you read this, I hope you dont mind I posted it here.)

Right click on "Neuroc Rollover", Save Target As, and then play it locally. It is 1.84Meg. If you try to play it remotely you will either experience a timeout or the vid will play horribly.

    Don

  • OH MY GOD!! That is nuts. I can't believe she did a whole 360.

    Incredible!

    -Chris

  • That was a wild video. she stood on the nose forever. thats got to be a uncanting feeling of going over. I wouldn't have known which way to gas it. wonder if a forward jump would have produced a different outcome.

Hey you were at the WalMart Speed Bump Climb in 1999? you were the one with the winch, right?

  • a quick foward gas may have kept her from rolling. but i t may have rolled her the other way also. it was just a bad spot. all she needed was a spotter to be holding a rope

  • That was a great video. I kept wondering why is her spotter not using a rope. I guess points would be added, but I would think the roll over would be even more costly.

When is the next somewhat local comp? I would love to watch some of that action.

  • ames,
if you were refering to the rankings, its like this:
    1 609 Aaron Stapen Don Nichols 338 $1,210.00
ranking (1st)- team# (609), driver name (Aaron Stapen), spotter name Don Nichols), total points for the weekend (338), and prize money.

    Jason,
you get a -3 point bonus for not using a spotter at all. i am not sure about using the spotter and not the rope.

  • Apparently because of the position she was in, her spotter could not get to the rope. It was just a bad spot. The bonas line on that trail was easier then the stock line she took.
