Figured I'd give it a shot here first.
WTB : 6" Subwoofer

I know you said you're looking for a 6" sub but if you want I have a 12" Pioneer you can have for free. It's not in a box or anything but the cone and magnet are in perfect shape.

Maybe Dan what's his name that parts out all the jeeps might have one. I think the only place to buy a replacement is quad
-
Should have specified, not looking for a factory one.
-
I thought I read that crutchfield has some also
-
Where you plan on mounting the 6" sub?
-
Should have specified, not looking for a factory one.Are you looking to replace the factory one, upgrade it or just install a net new small sub? The factory one is 2ohm which is not typical and difficult to replace with a different model. Also I believe it's actually 6" which is a non-standard size. If you are going net new 6.5" is more common.

This Sub woofer is what I went with when your old one gave out.

When I was upgrading my system it was far better to go with a Kicker 6.5" on a new single channel amp as it all fit very nicely. The factory setup is garbage but I am sure Keith is already very aware of the limitations of the factory sub amp and setup.

I ditched the factory setup years ago.
I had a JL Audio 6w0 but it took a crap.
Looking for something similar.
The Kicker models may fit the bill.

Update on this.
Finally got around to looking for a replacement.
Went with this: http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_42354_Pyramid-WX65X.html
Under $20 with shipping and sounds great.
Again, Wranglers are not sound studios.
15 minute swap as the mounting holes were the same.
-
You can get good sound out of wranglers but you need a behind the seat sub as well as to fit bigger speakers in the sound bar and front console. Then put an amp on your mid/highs.
