bumper install questions

    :shrug: just got a smittybilt rear bumper with tire holder and hitch. does anyone else have one? like / dislike? also need to know torque specs? stock specs? :shrug:


    Proper torque specs per bolt type. I would Also use Nylon loc nuts.. If metric, there are also charts for that

    This^ .... If you are working on a TJ or even an XJ (You didn't say) you will be lucky to get an open end wrench on half of the bolts let alone a torque wrench.

    yeah, good and tight... unless you're using a big cheater bar, you won't get them too tight.

    2020 Gladiator Mojave - 33" Falken mud tires, LoD side steps, Zroadz bed rack, Quadratec QRC winch bumper, Superwinch EPi 9.0, Kleinn on-board air, Kleinn air horns, lots of lights, Yaesu ham radio with GPS tracker.

    Gone- 2012 JK Rubicon with stuff. Long gone- Long-arm 2001 Cherokee with stuff.

    :wavey: Its on and I used German tight "good and tight", torqued it down. It looks good and works well. I cut the third break light down and mounted it, pictures coming soon. :wavey:

    Besides German torque, there is also Obscene torque which is f**king tight, and Navy torque where you tighten till the threads strip, and then back it off one flat.

    I used to have Super Powers,
    but my Psychiatrist took them away!

    All done. I like it and will be ordering there front bumper next
