2.5 to 4.0 swap wiring harness

    So Shadyluke is finishing up the install on the 4.0 motor in my Jeep. It is approaching the time to tackle the wiring. We are thinking we can wire in the two extra injectors into the 2.5 harness and plug the harness into the new 4.0 computer. Any one have Intel on this swap, and any other wiring issues we should expect? The details are 1991 2.5 YJ swapping a 4.0 motor from a 1996 Grand Cherokee. The computer is from a 1995 Jeep YJ.

    i dicussed it a little with luke. It should work out if the pins at the computer are the same. If they r not he will have to find a obd1 harness to steel some wires from and solder them in. There are very few differences in the 4 and 6cly harnesses.

    Seems like it would be easier, especially down the road, to find a 4.0L harness out of a junker.
