    However, here are the basics... :)


    Food and drinks for the day (of course, no alcohol, even for passengers)
    Front/rear recovery points (Stock Jeep tow hooks are fine)
    a tow strap is a good idea, but there will be plenty available when you're in a DEJA group, we always help each other out.
    Fun, positive attitude
    Camera (to go along with that fun attitude, taking pictures of the trail, poser shots, stuck photos of others AND your own stuck Jeep).


    You don't need a trail flag, the only local spot that required them was Paragon, a great offroad park outside Hazelton PA that had to close due a few years ago. RIP Paragon.


    It's a good idea to pack for the "just in case" scenario that you might have to spend a day in your Jeep. Doesn't typically happen when you're with a DEJA group, but I went by myself to Paragon to a Cherokee event and killed my alternator. Ended up running down the battery in the middle of nowhere on the way home, had to wait a few hours until my brother could find me. I did have a nice fleece blanket in the back and my phone charger in addition to an extra bottle or two of water, so I was good for the night, but... It's good to be prepared. :)
