Is there anyway to know if this is a real Rubi or one of the fake ones? I'm not sure where the switches are for the lockers in these new Jeeps.

The VIN tells all...

That would be great. I keep tossing around the idea in my head to trade in the F250 on a Jeep. I've got nothing to tow and the truck sits so much.

Educate me please... I Google searched but didn't get anything.
Carfax says it is a rubicon.
I'll text him and see what the deal is with it.

Yea I saw that on Carfax also but wasn't sure. Are the 2011 motors better or worse than the 2012s? I see they are rated for less HP and TQ.
2011 has the new interior, but the same motor as the 07-10 so worse then the 12.
Sent you a PM
Where are the locker and sway bar disconnect switches? They look missing on that one unless they moved them on the 2011's.
the new interior has them in front of the drivers left knee.
Ahhh...Thanks Jerry. Mine is in the center cluster. Seems like they left a lot of dead switches on the newer ones.
It's a nice looking Jeep BTW.
Adam's Jeep is pretty well respected.
I'm sure it's what they say it is.

I think I only have one blank switch on my center switch panel. seat heater, traction, hill descent, hazard, blank, inverter, seat heater.
Btw, I love that Sahara Tan color. REALLY wanted my 2012 in Tan, but they cancelled it.

X2 on the tan.
Yea I love that tan. Can anyone put into perspective how much better the 2012 engine is over the 2011s?
There is a huge difference in the autos. The manual version definitely has more pep, but after driving both it wasn't enough for me to trade up for. If you call Mike ask to drive his. He has the identical jeep but a 2012.

83 more horsepower is a nice improvement, the transmission (auto) gearing is a big thing, as well... actually uses the engine power band vs whatever they tried to do with the 3.8L. Try to do a test drive with a 2012 vs the 2011... find similar axle gearing if you can, there are a few options for the 2012s... 3.21 is standard (better for the smaller tires and highway mileage), with 3.73 optional (standard with max tow package and Rubicon) and 4.10 optional for the Rubicons.
WOW! That video speaks volumes. Hhhhmmm I'm so torn about the decision to get rid of my truck that we absolutely love but have absolutely no need for.
Makes me want to trade in my 2010 and get me a 2012 Rubicon...
I understand what they were trying to prove in that video, however, I just gotta say....
Jeep drag race? really?
Jeep drag race? really?
;D It was a good non-scientific way to prove the extra power.
