I remember a short one of these at PAP...
Would You Do It ??

My gut instinct is that this is shopped. It is almost beyond imagination someone would drive that
-
not much room for error there...i let a couple others go first...then follow...
-
Looks like you can see the winch cable out and tight.
-
i'm not sure i would belive this photo. to great of span without bracing to prevent the timber from opening up in the center. plus i would have removed the tires from the rims to allow better stability on the logs to keep from sliding off. to many what ifs.

Bloop! and they are off..

I don't know if it's real or 'shopped, but I wouldn't do it. This smaller (and larger at the same time) log bridge was at Rausch Creek...side road off of the power lines. That's about the extent that I'd take my Jeep
-
You could strap some pipe or big logs to you bumpers to keep you from dropping through and winch across.
-
It's in Malaysia...more info here: http://old-rfc-web.rainforest-…nge.com/index.php?page=45

I figured if it was on the Internet it was real.
This shot looks a little more friendly.
Looks like the 2 are lashed together.

I remember this log bridge. Daddanelena and I ran it a few times during the short time it was open.
It definitely had a certain nerve-wracking element to it when the logs made creaking and cracking noises. :o -

Uh, NO! I don't do too well when it comes to heights........ I'm pretty sure my YJ she feels the same way! -
I would do it but I'm an idiot when it comes to things like that. Two logs on the drivers side would probably make me a little more comfortable though. After reading up on the event it sounds pretty cool, I wish the Discovery channel would do something like following those teams instead of the stupid One Car Too Far crap.

Looks like you can see the winch cable out and tight. This makes me picture the vehicle toppling off the logs, and swinging down in a perfect arc until it slams into the vertical face of the ravine, like Indiana Jones.
Of course, Indy was uninjured. -
i was thinking this is real but deff only in some third world country...that kind of stuff is normal some places.
-
I would.

I tend to be the addrenaline junkie, so, given the right circumstances such as 'no turning around' and zombie mob coming up fast, I'd do it.
Now, I'm not saying certain areas on me wouldn't be clenched the entire time and I will be yelling at the spotter that I'm coming back from the dead to kill him if he fails me...
As the youth like to say YOLO, or better yet, as Yoda would say OOYL. -

Hell why not? Typically only ultra-cool or really rich Americans die in some far off jungle...other than The 'Nam. I'd be up there with the Rockefellers or Amelia Earhart. Badass.
