Booked site 15, Wed - MondaySmart, driving home on sunday night will suck, nice to detox at the came site that last day .
-
I drove home last year on Sunday and it wasn't that bad, was able to cut back roads most the way though
-
I'm pissed that I was forced to buy Monday even though I was already meeting the minimum night requirement. Thursday night doesn't count for whatever stupid reason.
Anyways, word is that surf fishing tags may be going up in price this year so if you are going to buy one I'd get it soon.

I'm running out tomorrow to get mine. Buying a 2 year tag while I'm at it. $15 increase starts Feb. I hear.
-
Last increase was in 2005.
Can't really complain about that.
-
Just bought my 2 year tag today. The ranger at White Clay said the increase will likely kick in early to mid Feb. and will be $15/year. So snag a 2 year now and save $30.
-
$160 per year for out of state. I may cut back to one tag. We'll see. I accidentally ended up with three tags last year.
I got my $130 tag already. Now I just need a job in DE for like five minutes so I can get a W2 to pay the resident fee. Paying all those taxes in Lewes isn't good enough for the state apparently.
-
Open a rental shop in DE. Maybe one down the beach?
-
... I may cut back to one tag. ....Billy's Jeep on the beach when he only has one surf tag ....

Billy's Jeep on the beach when he only has one surf tag ....
That looks about right. -
Confirmed:

When the increase takes place there will be a $1-increase for residents and a $2-increase for nonresidents for daily passes; an $8-increase for residents and a $16-increase for nonresidents for annual passes; and a $15-increase for residents and a $30 increase for nonresidents for surf-fishing tags.

Paying all those taxes in Lewes isn't good enough for the state apparently. While all the info online says "resident", when I was picking up my tags I was asked specifically if the Jeep had Delaware tags on it. She said the rule is enforced based on the vehicle's state of registration
-
When ordering online have to enter the vehicles tag # so it probably goes by that.
Unless dealing with Military since with the DAFB personnel their vehicles can be tagged from the state the person is from or the peoples from DC (or PA) that have Summer homes . . . -

You can also show a W2 proving you work in DE and pay state taxes. Jason Walker enlightened me of this loophole and was acknowledged by a women at the desk at Cape.

Before the kids, Billy?
