see the smilly face? It was a joke.
U can probably just plate and weld it.
Got it! The weld nuts inside the frame were pulling through. I made a patch out of 1/4" plate that will go inside the frame with new nuts welded to it. And I am pretty hard on it!
Got my new wheels and tires on the TJ.

Nice! Mine are coming tomorrow. Did New Penn deliver them? They'll never get that rig up my driveway.
yes it was New Penn pretty sure it was a 53 footer. The driver had no problem parking in the middle of the road to unload. He sad some trucks have lift gates and others do not. I lucked out with the lift gate, the driver had a pallet jack and got them as close to my garage as he could.
Big problem for me--they'll have to stop in the middle of Route 100.
if you have a pick up truck and a parking lot close by they could meet you there. my driver called to let me know I was his next stop..

it was running pretty bad cold, like only 5 cyl bad. replaced plugs and wires and it runs great again.
Slowpoke on 35s! Coming soon: corner guards and tube flares, AtoZ bumper and tire carrier.
Slowpoke on 35s!
Now I will have an even rougher time keeping up with you!
Seriously, though... It looks totally badass. We are going to have some fun with those!
A big thank-you to Ty at Associated Truck Parts in New Castle, who lengthened my front drive shaft and got it done THE SAME DAY! Nice job!

maybe that'll help with the shock mount problem!
maybe that'll help with the shock mount problem!
The shock mounts are all up on the axles now, with hoops in the front and towers through the floor in the back.
Knowing your previous issues you should probably still carry a handful of extra shocks just in case
I've gotten by with three plenty of times before!
