What is a good one?
My first choice (which I've been to lazy to do) is to put a switch between the clutch safety switch so the motor never tries to start. It's already bypassed now with a fuse.

Smith & Wesson, a big dog, a snake (but the weather may get to cold). Your children will love the last 2 choices.

True. But it's not like I ever leave mine in bad spots for long and I just figured someone smart enough could part it out for a reasonable sum. I mean, come on, the stainless hinges would sell for a bunch and in the end, my insurance company would love that claim.
I thought you put all the stainless stuff on it as the theft deterrent
This one's been talked up on the JF a good bit.

Right you are.
Billy's is a 4.0.
Dogs and guns rarely work. Everyone always beats their chest and talks about their guns/dogs....but thieves rarely are confronted by either. Just talking from experience on the good guy side....point being...use some sort of theft deterrent system.
what kinda lines go to the rail? is there anything to splice into? or what about a remote battery switch? im just thinking easy and cheap
Just drive a CJ with a T-18 or any tranny with an unsynchronized first...they'll never figure it out. Or on a TJ, what better excuse to install a twin-stick Atlas and ox-lockers? They'll just look at all the levers and go steal something else. Then just make a custom shifter knob with a big red button on top.

LOL. It's worked so far.

Funny because I was just on ORO's site the other day and saw that which is what started this thought. It doesn't seem to do anything that a cheap switch behind the dash that interrupts the clutch circuit would do better....and with the added benefit of starting it in gear on the trail.

That's what I need.
I have the ORO ade disable... I like it as it is not just a simple switch and the wiring looks like it belongs so.... but I am sure you could look at mine and for $5.00 make one at radioshack
