RCRocs Club Comp and Trail Ride with Jeep 101

    RCRocs Club Competition
    I wanted to get this up early because it is a great event.


    On Saturday, April 10th, DEJA's Team 111 will be competing the [url=http://www.rc4x4.org/rcforum/index.php/topic,7707.0.html]RCRocs Club Competition[/url] hosted by Blue Mountain Jeep Alliance at Rausch Creek Off Road Park.


    Last year was a great time and DEJA did surprisingly well against some VERY good teams.


    Representing DEJA will be:
    Astape: Aaron Stapen
    clendaniel: Ian Clendaniel
    J-Man: Jason Rhoades
    KnoxRents: Bill Knox


    Solomi (Sal Giglia) is going to run as a back up/helper as of now.


    Come on out and cheer or jeer the DEJA crew. If you have never been to a competition, it is well worth checking out.

    Trail Ride and Jeep 101
    Additionally, we are running a trail run on Sunday, April 11th, with a small Jeep 101 before hand headed up by shorebird (Randy Neiman). He will go over the basics such as airing down, safety, trail etiquette, how to climb Jersey barriers, etc.


    This will be a very laid back run and anyone wanting to try out their Jeeps for the first time will learn a lot from this. :up:

    Hey he was clearly deminstrating the do's and dont's of jersey barriers, He feels you only really learn by feeling and seeing. Trust me im a hands on learner and that was a little to hands on for me LOL. At least the jeep excaped with little damage.


    I will try to make this.

    Will be there with both jeeps. glad it got pushed a weekend earlier this year, p-chem exam on the 17th.

    I am in for the whole thing now! I will be camping Friday and Saturday. Ill be on the Trails Sat and Sun. Im in for any trails.

    Is there any chance anyone would be interested in staying at a local campground versus the parking lot "facilities"? I'd be interested in making a weekend out of it myself, but a hot shower and toilet at the end of the day would be nice. I know you guys are hard core though, this is just a feeler.
