After some Industrial black spray paint it looks stock.
To make it look truly stock, you need to punch some rust holes through the floor board.
Looking good guys. I can't wait to see it wheel.

This thing is going straight to the mall
Looks like Aaron's sheet metal work has improved a bit
I had to use expanding foam to fill the gaps on mine otherwise it burnt my leg hair off and probably got me high off the exhaust

Unless you get the fireblock stuff, expanding foam is highly flammable.
But so is leg hair...so you gotta set priorities ;D
Wouldn't seam sealer be more appropriate?
Meh, I can't remember exactly what I used but it's been a few years and hasn't caught fire yet.

Soooo... we've had a ton of progress and actually wheeled during the club comp weekend for the shake down run. Its back in the garage this week to finish some last items such as skid plates and door bars. The front pinion needed adjustment and the front d60 caliper brackets had to be replaced.
Done! Just need to add some additional cooling for the transmission...
Having an automatic transmission now and atlas 5.1 tcase is so much better then the stock setup. ORIs and the suspension felt stupid stable going over some crazy angles. Aaron (astape) did a great job on this and it practically drives itself now..
The door bars look awesome and you'll be glad you built them to allow the soft half doors to fit. (Mud spray sucks!!!)

Hell ya! All it took was cutting off one of the mounting points off for the upper window slide in for the doors too fit.
looks slick, man.
Came out nice!
What are the pressures your running in the struts?
Anything you have done different?
The bottom chamber, which controls the compression, is 110psi i think. Not sure on the upper chamber because that just sets ride height. They have 4" compression and 10" extension.

I think I'm running mine at about 120-125 lower and the uppers are around 330. They are different front and rear though because I'm a lot heavier in the front. The struts are very forgiving but it still took me forever to get them right and I'm sure there is still a ton of room for improvement if someone that actually know how to tune shocks messed with them (unlike me).

What Aaron said...
I probably would have added a fan combo with the new radiator and larger trans cooler. Trans cooler is one of those things that you don't know until you see how everything runs. I still plan on ripping the dash out to flat dash it and cleanup a lot of wiring. Other then those couple things I don't have any regerts...

TJ's have the worst dash configuration of any Jeep ever made with regards to visibility. (Very high dash.) I'd rip mine out in a second if it wasn't still a street Jeep.
Looks good!
