Pulled the engine trans and t-case out of my YJ last Saturday. Big thanks to 92Renegade for helpig out. The new motor and trans will hopefully end up in it this weekend and maybe start stripping the suspension out of it.
What have you done to your Jeep today?

Updated my tire size with my new AEV Procal. The speedo is correct once again.
-
The wife got me JKS Quicker Sway Bar Disconnects for Veterans Day!
-
Upgraded my axle innards yesterday.
Went from 3.73 to 4.56 and installed E-Lockers on both ends.
Big thanks to Aaron for doing the work. Took about 8 hours to do them both.
Also, thanks to Jump150 (Don) and Sal for helping out.
The performance difference on the road is phenomenal.
Much easier to lock the clutch up starting out, I can actually drive in 5th gear at 55mph again, and can actually use the cruise control again.
Hopefully I'll get to test the lockers out later in the month.
Only took a couple pics.

Am thinking of doing something with POR-15, but that probably won't be until the spring.

I threw a motor back in the YJ today. Hopefully I made enough room to get it into the garage tomorrow.
-
Cleaned, Waxed, Inspected for Damage (was none), and swapped soft top for hardtop.

I may have some POR15 gloss black left over. Let me know before you buy anything.

Picked up the Jeep on Saturday night from Down N Dirty Offroad with my new tube fenders. Mike at DnD did a great job and they were about half of what the Metal Cloaks run for just parts plus they did all the work. Wish I had said more of a flat black but that's a 5 minute fix next time it's in the garage.
-
I got it turned around and ready to put back in the garage to tear more parts of it off. Didn't quite get as far as I hoped this past weekend. I also stripped all of the brackets I don't need off of the rear dana 60.

new wheels and new shoes

Yeap

Starting my homemade long arm lift
-
Picked up a 98 TJ for my mom.
-
Finally started the tear down. The hard top is off and the cage is out. I folded the windshield down so that I have enough room to get it out of the garage once its done. Should start pulling the suspension parts tomorrow. Things are getting really exciting now.

Drove the thing to work after a month of sitting in front of the house...

Per something Neill mentioned in a post, I used some Sea Foam on the JK motor yesterday. I've used fogging oil before but never this stuff. It looked like the Jeep was on fire when I restarted it with smoke billowing everywhere. :o
Though I'm skeptical, I hope it helps. :-\

I've used it 2x - once on my 1983 Virago and once on my 1993 XJ. I ran it straight into the carbs on the Virago - ridiculous smoking! I ran it into the XJ via the brake booster vacuum line - again, ridiculous smoking! Both times it helped me get rid of a "miss" at idle. Hopefully it'll help clean things out for your JK
