Which track bar brand/model, how old are the ball joints, and how about the control arm bushings that are pressed in the axle? Is the axle track bar mount hole egged out at all?
What have you done to your Jeep today?

And speaking of track bars.....
I just tightened my track bar bolt (at the tie rod end), tie rod bolts and a steering stabilizer bolt, and it dramatically reduced the slop in my steering. DW hasn't been a big concern lately, but I'm going to assume that this will help there also. The interesting thing to me was that the bolts with the castle nuts and cotter pins needed to be tightened. Thanks to TheDarkSide for nudging me to check those links.

Jks, probably stock (however checked out by Milford Spring, ok) new control arm bushings, No. -
Replaced factory sway bar and r/c disconnects with Currie Anti-rock.

Aaron got my new axle side upper control arm bracket welded on last night wich replaced his wrenchtastic trail fix wich has been holding strong. He also got the wallowed wheel lug holes drilled out and the tapered cylinders were pressed in and welded. I took apart my 4wd linkage because the tab had snapped, I had a new one to replace it with but realized it was no where near stock since it was peiced together to fit with my belly up skid so that got welded back together where it snapped. I did use the bushings off of the ones Jbates gave me so it still came in handy. Now I just need to stop by the cb shop because my cb is not transmitting...... again
She should be ready for RC next week.

Paid the speeding ticket I got a few weeks ago. Apparently the DSP thinks my Jeep can do 73.
Tonka - I have that same bracket on mine
-
Pulled the interior out to start prepping for Monstaliner.

Nice! Ive gotta start doing that soon too.

Maybe checking DeJA too much from my phone is the problem, but I can't believe I didn't notice this earlier. First time I've seen a wrench welded into a Jeep as part of the solution
-
I need more mass to weld to and we didnt have any scrap metal. The flux core machine at rousch doesnt lay a pretty weld but it had decent penetration.
-
Good idea to get you home.
-
I had seen a wrench welded on a broken axle housing a few years back on one of the JK experience videos as a trail fix. This did the trick nicely though.
-
Woody and Surfrider tinkered on my TJ last night to replace the radiator and maybe the waterpump too while Beachgirl and I made a Beerrun

Taking a break for a few mins.... prep work sux big donkey balls!

Just finished... soooo tired... pics 2moro...

Got the BPEs and Bilstein installed in the rear. But still have some clunking in the rear end when turning. Not sure what to check next.
-
Trackbar mount and bushings, control arm bushings and swaybar?
-
I'm thinking track bar since it's while turning, but I haven't been able to replicate the noise with the Jeep at a stop.
