Never think of it when installing nice, new, shiny parts. But it will come back to get you.
Ode To Never-Seize

uhh.. A need be for tcase skid bolts, exhaust bolts, and anything that goes through elements and severe temp changes. I use High-Temp Anti-Seize on everything I can, with the exception of suspension components (they re easy enough to just hook the impact to and break the eff off).

Trying to get my rear upper BPE's loose and can't break the Allens free.

The copper based anti-seizes work the best IMO.
-
Well yea, right as I posted that I thought of the stock location of the TJ upper shock mounts, I am so glad that I moved mine outboard of the frame
-
One thing worth mentioning, careful what you get it on it's pretty permanent.

Keep laughing at me when I rip mine apart once a year so I don't have to deal with seized parts -
It works well with lugs especially on the coned area where the lug contacts an aluminum wheel.

15 mins every 5 years removing stuck bolts vs 3 weeks every year tearing the entire Jeep apart.
-
Wish it only took 3 weeks...LOL

Going to try some heat on them, hopefully they will come loose.

That shld do the trick..hopefully

My two favorite tools, never seize and a good 6 in 1 screwdriver. Probably sounds like a strange combo, but both are invaluable and have saved me lots of time. My buddy brought home an old chevelle project to begin restoring.... I showed up with a brand new can of anti seize for him....he's kinda new at working on cars and he looked at me like...what the h#ll? I think its pretty cool, knowing that he will be thanking my ass forever for the stupid 5 dollar can of magic.

Dont bolts treated with this stuff sometimes work themselves loose?

Dont bolts treated with this stuff sometimes work themselves loose? Not with lock washers.
-
Dont bolts treated with this stuff sometimes work themselves loose?Even if it did ...
I'd rather just replace a missing bolt ( I always carry enough spares )
rather than spend time removing a seized one -
My dad has an ancient can of "Bostik" Never-Sieze in his garage. The slogan on the side is pretty accurate.
"Put it together with Never-Seize, Take it apart with gauranteed ease"
-
like the old lady in that 'louisiana hot sauce' radio commercial: "i put that <bleep> on everything!"
-
i love that commercial
