  • Had a blast! Was a L-O-N-G day but really fun time. The DEJA rig performed admirably and came out largely unscathed with the exception of the factory rear bumper getting somewhat tweaked and the passenger rear quarter getting a couple beauty marks from the comp course. While I still have the Jeep at the house I plan on giving it a post-comp once over and building a rear bumper for it to afford some more clearance and allow us to eliminate the hitch.

  • Other then the wind it was a great day. I had fun all day even though it wore me out. I wish my rear locker was working because I know I could have done better. Nothing like ddoing most of the courses in 3 wheel drive. Although it was a real good test of the new suspension and it was worth the long hours to get it ready. Here is one pic I like.

    2000 Cherokee Police package, Beater....

I may be slowest and the stupidest

  • I had a blast! 3rd place is like 1st when you have a beat ass jeep like mine. ;D Thanks to all that came out, I hope everyone enjoyed the comp. The weather kinda sucked but it's always a little cool and windy that time of year. No real damage on my Jeep to talk about. It was all good

  • Awesome you guy's really kicked some ass!!!

  • Final scoreboard after the shoot out.

Man...that really shows how much of a beating we took on A2. That course is the only place 1st and 2nd got us. That last gate was a real SOB. I had a blast, hope I get do it again in the future. Glad Aaron had a little trust as I had him spotted pretty far over on a couple occasions...that rear cantilever setup is p-i-m-p and stable as hell, if I end up going c/o I might have to 'borrow' the design. :suspicious:

I am really impressed that KGB sent all four of their rigs through the bonus on A2. That bonus was insane especially since they had just rolled a Jeep the course before. They deserved the win running hard like that.
At the campfire, the guy from BMJA said he was shocked to see how long we held the lead. Two years of good showings for DEJA. Not bad for a small club.

  • You are more then welcome to "borrow" the design, just dont expect me to help. I still have a headache from the design and build. I was real happy with the way it performed. Just goes to show that if you put the time in the garage you dont have to worry about the race.

All I did was go out and kick my jeep, and put it on the trailer  ;D

  • I think you all did an awesome job in the comp. I saw a big improvement over last year, and it looked like the courses were much harder. Can't wait till next year!!
