What are some good ways to mount things like flood lights / interior lights to roll cages without welding tabs or buying $35 billet clamps. I mounted a bike cell phone holder on a copper elbow hammered flat on one side then attached with a hose clamp.
Mounting stuff to roll cages

For smaller, lightweight stuff that you wouldn't have to worry about dislodging during a crash, I'd go with some heavy duty Velcro. I guess the main deciding factor would be how often do you want/need to remove the item/mount or vice versa. There's also duct strapping with the holes that run the center that can be used for heavier items and a more permanent mount. Chain link fence clamps, exhaust clamps, industrial size zip ties, etc.
I've seen interior roll bar lights that attach via hose clamp styled mounts. Personally, I like the flat adhesive backed LEDs like I have under my dash. For interior lighting, you could find individual LED pods that you can run in sequence, run them inside the roll bar padding and then make tiny holes for the LED bulb to shine through. The idea in my head looks better than that description....

why not just weld a tab? There are enough of us with welders around to make that happen. Esp for lights and stuff like that.

Don't you have pockets? -
I used pan head self drilling screws to attach a small "dashboard" to my cage. It holds a cell phone holder and my gps speedometer antenna. You could also drill and tap holes to bolt something to. I figure if I ever change up and don't want the holes I will just weld them up and grind them down. The cell phone holder, by accident, holds my phone just about right to take a dashcam video, which is cool.

Don't you have pockets?I like my phone mounted for dash cam video, and ease of music selections.

Go pro makes a roll cage mount. I think its like $20. Also look into RAM mounts. They can be pricey but you may be able to find a used one on ebay or somehthing.

So, slightly related, I bought the spider web shade grab bag and it is perfect for me. It feels way too expensive but after one ride with it I'm really happy I got it.

I would have shipped you a Wawa bag and zip tie for only $19.99. Act in the next 10 minutes and I'll include an extra backup Wawa bag for only 9.99 more shipping and handling. -
ooooh, we don't have those fancy wawa bags out here ...

Do we get to see the hammered copper piece? This is an important question. OP needs to deliver on this one.

Thanks for the labels. The complexity of this Jeep mod was WAY over my skill set. Can you send me installation instructions in a PDF format?
(I'll give you props though. It looks a lot better than I was expecting.)
