They probably dropped shipped from the vendor too do it will take even longer.

Those can be a pain in the ass. When I did mine I couldn't get the new tumbler assembly in unless I removed the buzzer switch thing. No problem since I didn't want it anyway.
Well got my new rim a few days after my last post... been busy with work/holiday and just now getting to post... got all tires/rims mounted/balanced and on the WK at 6:30pm after work last Tuesday... yea we did it by bright ass flashlight as I had waited long enough!! Hardkor went to take it for a test ride and heard some rubbing and as it was 7ish we couldn't really see what it was... no driving STILL for me.. Hardkor drives me to work in the Beast (his XJ) the next day and picks me up in my WK.. it was only minor rubbing by the caliper clips. Easy fix and I'm on the road WOOHOO!!!

I've got a 666 tag too, not on my Jeep though

Love the tag! Good job on the build, looks good. That's somewhat of what I did because I took the rear seat out. Built a rear cargo area to hide the subwoofer and amp, figuring I would have the top off all summer and didn't want anyone to look in and see what I have. Didnt carpet mine, threw an old blanket on it and presto... Instant dog bed when he rides.
Well Tuesday night Luke and I started pulling all the good parts off of my 92 YJ Renegade to go on to my 94 YJ Sahara.

Is this going to be a whirlwind of a build so it will be done by the Jeeps for Joy event next weekend?

It's not planned to be. Neil is planning to do it right. He doesn't need to be rushed.

Plan is to have it ready around March/April time frame I'm not going to rush when done with this part of the build it will be a running driving Jeep again that I've owned for over 5 years and never driven.
Threw a set of 285's on it. not a huge difference but it's enough
Been spending some much needed YJ time working on my brother's JK. Sis-n-law had it detailed (greatly needed) so then I put the carpets back in last night. Today I had to replace a lost axle side quick disco for the sway bar link. Then find out the link is bent so I go to take that off.. won't budge so I have to burn it w/ the torch which toasted the bushing.. got it off and see that the plastic sleeve that slides down over the axle side piece is busted.. I was going to try and heat the end of the link up and straighten it out but told my brother to see about replacing the link bc I don't think he'll be able to just replace that broken plastic retainer.
So, since I had the jack and stands out, I rotated my tires, adjusted the rear drivers side drum and then tested to ensure the 4wd was all in working order. Now I'm cold and tired and going out to buy my Powerball tix to buy me a freaking garage!
